Professor Madaki serves as an expert consultant and resource person for government bodies, judicial institutions, and international organizations. His advisory work focuses on legislative drafting, law reform, judicial administration, and professional capacity building.
Judicial Consulting
Professor Madaki has served as a resource person and consultant to the Federal Capital Territory Customary Court of Appeal, providing expert advice on the effective administration of justice.
Government & Legislative Bodies
Professor Madaki regularly provides training and advisory services to federal and state government bodies. These roles include:
- Serving as a consultant to the Katsina State House of Assembly on bill development, analysis, and scrutiny.
- Providing training and capacity building as a resource person for the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Acting as a Commissioner for the Revision of the Laws of Bauchi State and a member for the Review of Laws of Kaduna State.
- Serving as a resource person for the Niger State Ministry of Justice to train new State Counsel.
- Advising the Kaduna State Local Government Service Commission on the training of Land Administration Officers.
International Organisations
Professor Madaki was appointed as the National Legal Consultant for the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. In this role, he was responsible for reviewing the national regulatory framework for irrigation and water resources in Nigeria.
